Compete with Confidence at Our events
We pride ourselves on running events that are enjoyable and above all safe for all competitors, officials and volunteers. This is part of the reason why we have strong numbers of drivers attending our events and growing club membership numbers. Our events are covered by the Equestrian Australia Affiliated Club Insurance Programme through Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers. EA and Gow-Gates provide the equestrian community with a first class Sports Insurance Programme, whilst maintaining the affordability of registration. More details on our insurance is available HERE.
Can non-Members drive at our Events?
All drivers who are not members of our club can participate/compete at an event by completing a restricted membership (event membership) form. A fee of around $20 per event for restricted membership means you are covered by our club insurance and can compete in all parts of the event/competition (including speed & timed competitions). Put simply, for a small fee potentially anyone (including ACDS members) can compete with confidence at our events!
Alternatively, you can join our club for an annual fee of $50 ($40 for junior under 18yrs) which will give you insurance for all of our events without having to pay any additional insurance fees. You will also get other member benefits like free lunch and refreshments on club activity days. More information about club membership available HERE.
